The Willamette Valley is a prime destination for those interested in wineries, mountain biking and fine dining, beer tasting and other activities. With Boulder’s Farm conveniently located in the heart of this, there are plenty of fun things to do all within a short drive of here.

Wineries
Both Polk County and nearby Benton County are home to a number of excellent wineries.
Mountain biking
Just up the road is Black Rock Mountain Biking Association’s mountain biking course, Oregon’s first legal bike-only trail systems on public land.
Local beers
If you’re looking for a great beer there are plenty of nearby options. Independence is home to Rogue Farms Tasting Room, Brew Coffee and Tap House, The Tap Station and (coming soon) Parallel 45 Brewing. In Dallas, you’ll find West Valley Tap House; Monmouth is home to Crush Wine Bar and Tasting Room, Grain House Brew Works and Craft Bar West.

Artisan breads and pizza
About eight miles north of us, Falls City is home to the Bread Board (open seasonally), specializing in European style breads baked in Oregon’s largest wood fired bread oven. They also have pastries, pizzas, sandwiches and monthly farm-to-table dinners.
Mead and Cider
Philomath, just down the road from us, is home to Nectar Creek Tap House which specializes in session meads. Nearby Corvallis is home to 2 Towns Cider Tap House.
Oregon Coast
Newport, the gateway to the central Oregon Coast, is exactly one hour by car from the farm (via U.S. Highway 20). Newport is home to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, numerous state parks with stunning scenery, Rogue Brewing, and one of the largest fishing fleets in the Pacific Northwest. You can visit Newport’s historic waterfront, buy fresh seafood off the docks, and then stop at Boulder’s Farm on your way home for fresh produce.
